What is Nordic speculative fiction? What do we mean when we say “Nordic”? This is an introduction to the first definite anthology on Nordic speculative fiction and the first one written in English for a larger global audience. The introduction not only discusses the aims and scopes of the anthology but also outlines some past, present, and future trajectories of Nordic speculative fiction and the scholarship devoted to it.
