dc.description.abstractThis paper presents information on the execution of timbral effects in Magnus Lindberg’s Clarinet Concerto, one of his most frequently performed compositions. It also provides historical information on Finnish music as well as practical tips on practising the piece. This paper concentrates on contemporary timbral effects used in the concerto and explains how they should be performed. In a way, this paper is kind of performance guide for those interested in studying or performing Lindberg’s Clarinet Concerto.fi
