Abstract
This written component of Senni Siltavuori’s Master of Fine Arts thesis introduces the creative process behind the artistic component of the thesis presented at the master of fine arts degree show Kuvan Kevät in May 2024. This written component explores the connections between Sufi practices and Siltavuori’s artistic work, focusing on the themes of disappearance, transformation, and unity that were central to the exhibited art works in the master degree show. This written component also provides insight into her artistic journey and the conceptual foundations of her artistic practice.
